when greg was moving over there my family was also talking about moving out there...no snow...much warmer 'DRY' NOT humid....

in addition i heard phoenix AZ was america's fastest growing city/suburbs...good jobs and cheap cost of living compared to San Fran/LA/NYC/MIAMI/DC etc etc...

greg actually still works w/ my company EDS out there...works remotely i believe....still on my mind....if i can guarantee a job making 60k im there...

Lek, if you're looking, I got a condo in Centreville (Faircrest), and one in Fairfax (Fairfax Ridge). We can strike a deal and leave out the agents! I wanna buy a townhouse in fairfax, but need to move one condoe to swing it.

I really want a townhouse. But with one income its really hard especially in this area. Living expensives is kinda high. I may be forced to go with a condo... when are you looking to get rid of the condo? approx. how much are condo fees for the places?

Vic, how much are you selling for and how are the condo fees? You can PM me if you'd like. Which one are you looking to move?

I'm flexible with timing - no urgency, but do want to snap up a nice townhouse in fairfax while they're under 600... maybe try and close something by next spring? My Faircrest unit's monthly condo fee is ~150-160, and Fairfax Ridge (w/ elevator) is ~190.

How abotu prices on the units? i'm assuming its not a co-op? I'd be more interested in the Fairfax location as opposed to Centreville. Just seeing whats out there. I can afford a nice townhome in say Frederick but on my own here I cant afford a house really. At least not until I get married.
