the best street fighter game to date is Capcom VS SNK 2 for ps2 and xbox. its a very deep and technical game with street fighers vs king of fighters based on the Street Fighters Alpha 3 engine.

Good lord I'm old and behind the times. The last one I played was Capcom vs. Marvel 2. My favorite line up would've been Cyclops, Spiderman, and Iron man. Nothin' beats Iron Man's special move. Proton Cannon kicks @ss!
