I Am Sooooooooo F'ed...

I am sooooo screwed right now.. I can't believe I was so dumb!! Me and a group of friends went for a cruise today around Fulton, MD (straight 55mph road, with very light traffic and a few curves and stuff). Well, we were doing about 115-135 consistently for about 8-10 miles. Then Out of nowhere, two cruisers catch us, I was in the middle of the pack, 4th out of 7 cars. From me and to the 7th, we were all caught, the other 3 were lucky and got away. I am kind of lucky, the cop decided not to arrest us, but he gave us a ****load of charges, reckless driving, excessive speeding, speeding more than clocked (whatever thats called) (he said he clocked us at about 96) but he knew we were going much faster. All in all, it's going to be a liscence suspension, and a fine of who knows what..? The ticket doesn't even list a fine, I need to go to court indefinitely to hear the judge's decision... soo soo soooo screwed...

3 of the 7 of us had a Passport radar detector, and one guy in the way back had the valentine.. NONE of them went off.. W T H ! I'm just trying to figure out how I am gonna pull off driving with my liscence suspended.. damn it

damn man this month seems to be the bad luck month...

sorry to hear that bro. i suggest youdont try to drive with you liscense suspended, if you dont wanna goto jail. take a defensive driving class, it might help dropping some charges, and you might need a lawyer.

Where in fulton was this? Didn't even know you there's enough space to go 8-10 miles driving that fast. I'm going to skip the lecture and jump to the fact that you will need a lawyer. Just because they didn't arrest and impound your car at the scene, doesn't mean the judge can't and won't sentence some time for you. You definitely need a lawyer who will tell you what exactly needs to be done b4 court date. Goodluck with everything, also, if you must drive during suspension, don't post on a public forum. You don't know who's trolling. Also, you should not drive the G either, b/c the chances of you running into the same folks and them recognizing is very high since there's not that many G's. just a thought, good luck

Yea a lawyer can defintly help. It may sound like alot now, but after you factor in insurance costs over the next few years, it'll be a bargain.

i think if he takes a class and get a lawyer theres a good chance he can avoid liscense suspension, hes gonna get some points no matter what though, and hes insurance rate will go up. and Dhej is right about the cost, your insurance will be a whole lot higher without the lawyer.
