Thinking of painting a new color... where?

I'm thinking about changing my G to another color. What's a good price for a good paint job and does anyone recommend somehwere in the Maryland area? Thanks

hrm, what color do you have now? and what color are you trying to do? I know my friend got his M3 painted to the Laguna Seca Blue, it cost him close to 6k. I'll ask him tomorrow when I see him for some info.

I'm not worried about re-sell value as I plan on keep it for a while.

I do like the Daytona Blue and Lakeshore but I leaning towards a white right now. But I'm basically trying to get a price range first to see how much money I need

not sure on money but be prepared to drop at least 2-3 grand to have it done right. Which white are you thinking of going with? if so, make sure it stands out somewhat. no need in spending all that money to change it to a stock color

There are other pearl whites out there that are pretty nice. Take a look at Lexus' Pearl.

Right on, if you're thinking an OEM color, you're probably better of trading no? 350z DB is just sick, they shoulda made that on the G as well.

Gotta agree with the guys above. If you're forking over $2-6K+ to repaint your car, it better not be stock color. I'd get it some exotic color like Ferrari Silver or something. If you want stock color, trade in your car and take the hit. End result would be the same in terms of a color change/cost and no to little downtime. For a complete paint makeover, be prepared to drive something else for at least 1-2 weeks.

I'd only go custom too if I'm going to trick out the vehicle (body kit, more mods, etc). I think it'll look weird if you get something like lambo yellow and keep the stock wheels and the whole ride the same. And yeah, if you paint it stock it wouldnt make sense. Woudl be just cheaper to trade it in and get the color you want!
