Sssssssmmmoked An Is300 Last Night
The SRT-4's are underrated, they actually have a advantage over the G coupes from a dead stop. My friend's SRT-4 with just a turbo back exhaust is running 13.5's. Also, a few ppl I know with EVO's say that its a driver's race when it comes to evo vs srt-4's (stock vs stock). I have yet to be able to hang with a SRT-4 from a dead stop. Never really tried from a roll tho.
Then I guess I just got lucky. We were on Westheimer (for those in Houston that know) and at a light. He moved up a little, and so did I. When the light went green we both took off. I was still using AT but had the traction off. I beat him in first, second, and third. From everything everyone here is saying, it seems like he shifted bad. I guess it's a good thing I didn't know about what you guys are saying prior, and it didn't hurt my confidence then, cuz I started my hazards on second gear...lol!
Also, it seems like the SRT4's got everyone's attention. Can someone please enlighten me on my victories against the Magnum and Chargers too? Was I underpowered as well those times?

we can take them from a dead stop, its a drivers race. exhaust adds like 30whp lol, so of course once they have an exhaust we are no longer able to take them.
since the Neon has been discontinued, the new version of the SRT-4 based on the new dodge Caliber will sport 300hp turbo charged I4.

2x IS300

5x RSX
3x TL
1x Charger
2x Magnum
1x Civic Si (the new one)
5x Civic Si (old ones)
3x Prelude
1x Solstice
countless other Civics, Corolla S's, and Accords
I have a lost list, too, but I won't share it here. Let's just say that Evo and GTOs are pretty fast. Also, if anyone's wondering why I have a good number of races, I do most of them not on weekends, but rather morning and afternoon going to and from work in Houston. It gives me something to look forward to everyday, and these are not straight drag but swerving lanes in traffic. I think that's how I got the Charger and Magnums, but I really don't know how their raw power compares to ours, so I can't say how I would fare in a straight line against them.
Anyone else have a good kill list?
