Currently, I have it sitting in a garage and not driving it. How often should I start the engine, every 3 days?
I'm some what confident that I'll sell my car before my competitors do. The dealerships that are listing '05 g35s with 5k-12k miles for around $35k will have a difficult time selling them.

When I sold my last car, I had to negotiate w/ buyers apparently willing to pay ~2k more to buy an identical car from a dealer because of the peace of mind that they'd gain from buying from a dealer w/ mechanics on hand, and more importantly, some business good will or reputation to preserve and a deep bank account to go after. I think those need to be considered too.

yeah my parents are the same way... they felt like buying from a major dealorship means the car has passed their inspection by their mechanic. when you buy from private seller, you are wondering... whats wrong with it? why is he selling it? even if you tell them theres nothing wrong with the car, why should they trust you?

I'm selling it because of rumors of the new Supra due out next year and the redisgned G35 this year. Also, I was disappointed in the G35 transmission and it weights too much.
I have other cars in mind as well. Not too sure yet. I'll keep my options open when I sell it.

If the transmission was as good as the S2000 or Rx-8 and weighted around 3000 pounds, I wouldn't be selling it.
Perhaps Inifiniti has listened to these complants and the redesigned 2007 G37 will be lighter and have a better 6-speed transmission.
I'm thinking about buying the '08 Supra as well. However, I need a rear seat and I don't think the Supra will have one. That's a shame

Well, I finally sold my G last week . I'll miss it.
However, I bought it back in March for $29,700 and sold it for $31k. Not bad, heh?
$1300 difference went towards the car insurance, VA car sales tax when I bought it, personnel property tax, gas, etc...
So basically I had fun with it for 6 months and broke even.
I am eager to see the redesigned '08 G coupe early next year. If I'm not impressed with it, clokwork and I will be waiting for the redesigned Supra next year.
I like the Subaru Impreza WRX STi. What do you guys think about these cars?
I am attracted to its AWD, rear seat, and performance. I'm not a big fan of its exterior and interior design though. That's probably why I bought a G back in March.

I think I'll be loyal to the G and buy the redesigned '08 model.
