Check out the Kelly Blue Book value of my car on kbb.com. This is a more reliable source than Dealer Black Book because I want to sell it to a private party. I'd never sell my car to a dealership because I know I'll get ripped off.
I just went on kbb.com and my car is worth $33,075.
Take notice KlokDeezal, G35 6MT coupes are in high demand so that is why fully loaded '05s are selling from $33k-$35k. Check it out on Autotrader.com.

Check out autotrader.com. Other g35s like mine which are fully loaded are going for $33k-35k. Acutally, mine is the most affordable fully loaded '05.

You have 4600 miles on your car, right? I'm pretty sure that your car can list for about $34k, no joke. Check out autotrader, that is how much they're being listed for. Not sure if you can sell it for that price but that is why negotiating is an art form. I'm pretty sure someone will try to talk me down from my asking price of $32,900. It's too be expected.

G35 coupe was voted by kbb as one of the slowest depreciating cars in 2005. The thing is, this not a cheap car. People who can afford this car used are usually willing to pay a few thousands extra and get it brand new instead.
You might have to go significantly below kbb price in order to find a willing buyer. Be patient though, as long as you price your car realistically and competitively. you will find a buyer. good luck

I think kbb is highly inflated. the TSX that my family was looking at couple of weeks ago had kbb dealer value of around 26k... we talked it down to 23,300.
Private seller value should be even lower. theres like a 3 thousand difference between kbb and realistic transaction price. The bmw 325i that we eventually got for 21.3k also had 26k private party resale value on kbb.

It also also greatly depends on how eager a seller or dealer wants to sell a car.
The TSX and BMW you mentioned I think the dealers really wanted to get rid of these cars.
Perhaps each dealer had a lot of TSXs and BMW 325is thus needed to sell cars from their lots. Or these two cars were sitting on the lot for a while.
I believe the greatest factor which a car sells at is depended on how the market is doing.
I think we can all agree that G35s have an excellant resale value.
I based my price on my competitors on autotrader.com. There is a same car as mine being listed by Passport Infiniti of Alexandria on this website for $34,880. There are also private sellers listing there cars between $33k-$34.5k. A buyer will definately choose my car at $32,900. And of course he or she will negotiate my asking price.
If I were to list my car at say...$30k, I know someone will buy it soon. But then I'll be losing $3k. I think I'll hold out till a buyer agrees to my current asking price.

yeah i was just speaking of my experience with kbb in general. you are basing your price on autotrader.com which directly reflects actual market price set by demand/supply. and its very competitively priced.
