Miss R & Clokwork: Engaged to be married
Its funny of all things that I met someone through the forums and then meet in person to come all the way to be engaged for marriage. I got around to emailing a good deal of you, but for those of you that I dont have email addresses for, here is the story from the email 
On Saturday, March 18, I asked my fiancé the question that I have been meaning to for a while now. It was night time in DC where the cherry blossoms were along the Potomac river. We first walked to the Lincoln Memorial (so that I could make it seem as if we were down there for site-seeing) we then walked along the walkway where the cherry blossom trees where which was near the river. I found the most beautiful tree that seemed to veil us with its' blooming flowers. I held her close, told her how much I loved her and that I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life. In tradition I kneeled and asked if she would marry me.
Our first date was at Starbucks and we went to that exact location afterwards to have coffee. We then had a late night dinner with a glass of sweet wine to commemorate the night I hope the pics help tell the story...

Congratulations, great to see two young people starting a life together. I remember that feeling (almost 30 years ago!) when we left on our honeymoon.
Hey, maybe you could get a ring with the G35driver symbol car and the wheels could be diamonds.
