If they squeeze out 45 hp just off of litres alone I will be pleasantly surprised. I wish infiniti(nissan) would go back to the straight 6 for the rwd cars.

I agree 100% with you...the FM design makes these cars so damn heavy also, but safe at the same time since the engine is pushed back further in case of a frontal collision!

not to say I wouldnt buy the car if it were at 330hp, but it would be a near definite if it were closer to 350 (yeah im dreaming).

The reason why is when I jump to the next car...im speaking for everytime I do jump... I want to see a moderately significant increase in performance. I know the motor isnt everything, but I dont see them doing too much more with the suspension. It would be great if I was wrong

here is my progression:

1993 base eclipse 100hp 1.8 litre sohc
2002 RSX Type S 200hp 2.0 litre dohc vtec
2005 Infiniti G35 6MT 298 hp 3.5 litre dohc

now, I am pretty sure I wont be jumping up another 100 hp but like I said. 50 more hp and relatively close torque would be excellent.

i think i went from

'92 corolla (5 hp)
'99 civic hatch (100 hp)
'04 g35 coupe (280 hp)

i guess i won't be buying anything new for a loooooooong time.
