So i'm coming back from NYC yesterday (great drive. Took me 3 hours to go 200 miles, thank God for the Escort 8500 - saved my a$$ atleast twice on the Jersey turnpike). I get on to 270 right by my house and cruisin at 70-75 in a 55. No problems, going with the flow of traffic. Everyone in front of me is slowing down like something is up ahead but there's nothing. Im trying to get into the fast lane to pass but there's a cop there going slow as heck. Probably around 58 or so. Mind you NOBODY is on the road right now and its the rule you can't pass a cop on the highway so everyone is driving 55 and wont pass the guy. I'm like F this, put the car on cruise control going 61!! 60 freakin 1!! And I start to pass the cop on the right side ever so slowly inchin on him. He starts to speed up a little to catch up and gets right next to me and slows down. I'm just minding my business going 61 in a 55 now. Suddenly I hear some loud talking out of his microphone. I turn down my music all the way to hear 'Please look at your speedometer or else I'll pull you over!!'. I had to hear him asy it a few times just because it wasnt registering in my head. B!tch try and pull me over going 61 in a 55 if you really want to waste your time.

I was in no mood for games so I slowed down and the cop continued to cruise at his 58 pace with nobody passing him. What a joke.

Warning or not but c'mon, 61!!! Nobody was even on the road - it was a Sunday! Geez, what a d!ck.

yea, I hate slow cops . I don't see the purpose of cops going slow on the highway, unless that's their specific task, "to slow/control traffic". I can't imaging that ever being a task. Otherwise, they're just being retarded power tripping. Why not just get to where you need to get and get the hell out of traffic's way. I hate them stupid speakerphone, I had a cop on 495 bust it out on me when I had a cell phone that was bling blingin with all these lights. He was like "Turn off the phone", took me a while to figure it was coming from the cop. It's pretty funny, b/c you have no idea where the voice is coming from and you're freakin out b/c you think you're hearing voices . haha

Yeah guys, I feel ya. I was driving my car and was getting in the "right" turning lane to go towards my house and it was a red light and there were "NO" oncoming cars, so I made the right turn and here comes "barney fiff" out of nowhere and he stops me right before I turn into the complex and tells me that I didnt come to a complete stop back there at the red light before I made that turn....NO THAT IS A LOAD OF CRAP!!! There were NO oncoming cars and frankly who comes to a complete stop anyway, most of us are at least doing 5-10mi/hr when making a turn.

Another incident occurred when I was in the HOV lane going 95S and it had not opened yet, it was about to open in 2 min, so all the cars started to line up and get ready, then all of a sudden like 3 or 4 cops showed up at the entrance to the HOV lane and started handing out 100 tickets for "Blocking the Shoulder" & "HOV violation". Now when I finally got up to the entrance it was 6:04pm and he pulled me over and being that he couldnt give me ticket for a violation, he gave me one for my tint...and told me that my license plate covers were illegal which I bought from autozone and that I had to take down my graduation tassel because he could write me up for "obstruction of view" I guess he has to write me up for something. Fairfax County cops are so **** and dirty.

Third and final incident, After the snow, I took my car into the car wash and this cop came in to get his washed, and I was getting mine waxed, and he came snooping around my car checking my plates, and my tint...AT AN F'IN CAR WASH, CAN I BREATHE ****!!!!...so I dipped out of there real quickly

That pisses me off sooooo much, sometimes, I just wanna get my old car and just drive it around and the cops didnt car, why because its old, they probably assume I dont have any money, but because we all drive G35's, we are always gonna be suspect and flagged

 

dayumn mang. i just got pulled over last nite as well going to the gym. was goin down 28 towards 29 to go to the gym. so i see a cop who had previously pulled someone over on the shoulder w/ its lights on. so me and the other cars slow to the limit. as soon as i pass i see the cops lights come off and he merges into traffic. (mind you 28 is 3 lanes and I was in the middle). First the cop gets up ON my a$$ literally tail gating me....that was about 5 min. Then the cop gets in the right lane...paces me for another mile...meanwhile im goin the limit not swerving etc etc. THEN he gets over behind me again...tail gating. THEN he gets into the left lane and paces me again for another mile!!!

FINALLY I get into the right lane to take the 28 exit onto 29 and the cops in the far left lane. LAST FREAKIN minute before the ramps about to stop, she swerves over 3 lanes of traffic to exit behind me. suddenly she puts her lights on...IM like you gotta be fcukin kidding me....

So she steps out...turns out to be a Bull Dike about 6'2'' (the kind Big B likes w/ a BIIIIIG AAASSSSS). She tells me she stopped me b/c my corners are blue...im like no they are clear...she says no they are blue so i stopped right there w/ the arguing. I was planning my BS story to feed her...She said the corners have to be orange or yellow...so she asks for license/registration. BIG PROBLEM...b4 i left for the gym i FORGOT MY WALLET!! IM like ok...how do i play this off...so i show her my lifetime fitness ID stating i was going to the gym and had my workout clothes on. Anyways she asks me to verify information on my registration which i did...took it back to her car and came back 10 min later. Basically I got lucky bc she was nice althought she kept looking into my car while she was talking to me trying to make it seem like she's interested in my convo when its really the contents of the car.

so i bull****ted her and stated 'i just my ride back from an accident...the bulbs are all burnt out or are all burning out and the body shop put these in to keep me legal for now'..."just check out my headlights (one of my clearance lights flickers and one of my fogs is burnt out) she checked it out..saw i wasnt BSing...and that was that.....

ya so i got a warning....

 

You guys have some serious bad luck and issues with cops. All the cops I see on I-270 fly. After they pass, I'm able to follow them up to 80 mph of course keeping 50 yd distance. Also, I-95 in Va has a seriously retarded HOV system. If you're headed north, there are very few exits to get off. If there's an accident and you're stuck in HOV when 3 passengers are enforced you get ticketed even if you entered it hours before. HOV enforcement in Va is insane. They literally cause more traffic having check points checking each car driving by.

 

All the cops I see on 270 go fast too until this one idiot!!

 

lol mannnnnn I had the same thing happen to me this Saturday. I was coming home from work at 11:30pm on 100 East bound. Speed limit is 55, and when I merge into the highway I saw a cop going at least 50 in the left lane. I got into the right lane and set cruise control on 57 and slowly passed him. He turns his sirens on and pulls me over!! I'm thinking how funny it would be if he gave me a ticket for 57. He comes over:
PoPo: sir do you know how fast you're going?
Me: yep, I got my cruise control set on 57
PoPo: Whats the speed limit?
Me: 55...
PoPo: So you're speeding.
Me: are you serious? you're going to give me a ticket for 57 on a 55?
PoPo: Well, looks like I'm in a good mood, so I'll let you off with a warning, but dont speed
Me: uh.... ok.. I guess thanks?

As he walks back to the car, I rev up to 2k and drop the clutch and fly down 100 E at 95 mph til I exit into 95. ****en *******.. Never gave him a chance to catch me if he tried :P

i agree..... 61 on a 55 mph is petty..... but be thankful that there was a warning..... legally, you were breaking the law and he could have pulled you over to beef up his quota..... so i don't understand why are you're complaining...... i think you got lucky with a ***** cop!
