pratik, dont waste your time or money getting them for the rears. most of the work is handled by your front pads hence why all the dust is on the fronts. i only used hawks on the front, and will continue using OEM for the rears. even w/ my aftermarket wheels, id raarely get ANY dust w/ the hawks in the front. Even the OEM pads in the rear got barely ANY dust. Just my .02 b.c. $50 for rear pads is steep IMHO...and they wont be doing much...
I did use brake quiet.. did u use the spray can or the paste?
I used the bright orange gel looking stuff that comes in a squeeze bottle. You have to put ALOT on the back of the pads, and make sure you let it dry and cure, so it doesn't just spread out the first time the piston squeezes on the back of the brake pad.
lek YOU didnt use anything, your friend who put them on did. i had brake squeal as well, but after a generous amount of disc brake quiet...it was gone.
