pushing your revs up to where you would land if you downshifted.

 

it's only for manual cars.... in auto the car rev matches for you when you downshift.

 

Helppppppppp PLEASEEEEEEE.......I can't even put the car into reverse....it keeps getting the 6th speed hahaha...........I want to take it out for pix but I could not back it out my gagage.

push down vertically on the shifter then slide into 6th

 

and be sure you're pressing the accelerator all the way!

 

Yea it took me like 5min to figure that out.

HAHA, same thing here. After I drove it home to my friend's house. "The hell? how come it's not going into reverse?" Nobody told me about the push down gig...good times

yeah man, its not really about the performance, i mean its only marginally faster, the advantage is really not that much. Its the fun factor that makes stick what it is, the total control you get from the clutch is just irreplacable. its all about the fun factor.

 

You can have fun with AT's too man ..

 

NO YOU CAN'T......Tofu how did you get this car home if you can't drive a stick that well .That is dangerous.

 

All of you that say you can't have fun driving AT's are WRONG. Seems to me people that drive stick always feel like they're better than the autos. This is coming from a guy who's had only been driving stick cars all his life and even I dont have that attitude.
Guess you never sat in my car before. Touchscreen, dvd's, mp3's. I should say driving an AT isnt that bad.

And dont get me started about getting road head either!!

 

I do know how to drive stick shift but the reverse gear is odd in g35.....I did not figure out until I tried to back my car out yesterday from the gagage.....
