Call local CompUSA for inventory. They're selling this model at the price of $699 at some stores. Basically the older model LT26HVE is for $699 and $200 rebate. But most CompUSA are sold out and they're replacing with this. Call to verify. Really good price for a decent HDTV flat panel. Great reviews if you search. I will post my review once I get it out of the box. This was bought at Glen Burnie's Comp. They should have 5 left.

Khoa, for a math number crunching asian man, I am very very surprised you cant take 699-200 to be 499
j/k
sounds like a good deal. I would love to have one of these to replace the 19" tube tv I have in the bedroom.

Sorry, didn't have my abbacus with me when typing this. There was just mad confusion when they're trying to ring me up it was like $799 here and $599 there so I got mixed up.
Not all Comp carry this model so you just have to call around. I believe in MD the LTHVE was actually advertised in the paper for this week. Goodluck. I am actually might go up there to get another one tomorrow. I'd buy one or two, but I really can't carry that many in my G. Plus it's $735 out of my pocket, which I can't afford to. If you really want this, maybe we can work something out. let me know

Did a search for availability using McLean's zip and found below. Vienna and Fairfax shows availability for the HVX model, which is the one I got. Chances are they don't have any HVE anyways, so you only need to check if they'll substitute. The only inventory is not always correct so calling is the best bet. Just thought this might help, not sure what are are include or not included as NOVA but it's VA so can't be that far."--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Man, went back to buy 2 more today. They freaking sold all but one, so I took the last one. The lcd is pretty nice, it's obviously different from rear projection so I have to get use to it. But for $500, can't complain.
