I had an HKS intake on my probe gt i didn't really feel the difference .But i did hear a difference in the sucking and the exhaust. No real power.

Terry that f'ed up man .Actaully i fit in the probe better. Hey i am not that big .

 

This is possibly the biggest rip off in term of aftermarket items for the G35/350z. I'm just shocked that some people actually spent big bucks for this!! At that price, the tube should be make out of platinum or whitegold. I'm sure it makes the same power and/or sounds as any other intake or even the z-tube/k&n combo. The only different is that you're paying 3-5x more with HKS.

Like argued in the previous thread... all of the intakes are essentially similiar in gains... like show in the comparison of all the filters. they hks does not seem to filter as well... it seems more of a cosmetic and sound mod more than anything. but i have to say i do like it... so it's up in the air. I have the ztube/k&n setup right now and its' fine.. i'll probably skip the intake for now and go get a AAM Flash... since installation of the cams is still up in the air.

 

actually what i should do is clean my k&n filter and recharge it. thats what i'll do on saturday...
