I am putting together a drive out to the Leesburg Outlets on the 7th and want to know interest. The way I see it, 3-4 cars minimum will do it. 7 goes all the way out there as most of you know, but there is an advanced detour off route for moderate to advanced drivers.

We will eat lunch when we get out there. There are plenty of places to choose from before hand or when we get there. I personally havent been to the outlets there so I want to see them.

The plan is to meet in the Dulles Area and leave from there anywhere from 10-11am.

I'm up for the drive. I've been meaning to meet you guys. I lurk a lot, but don't post too often. I live in Leesburg so this would be a great drive. I also know another fun road that you guys might enjoy on the way back. I'm up for this as long as I can be back by 4 or so.

 

I live right out near the Dulles Town Center in Sterling. If you guys don't mind a Z taggin' along, I'll go with you. I've been itching to get the car out and stretch its' legs a little.

I would hardly call that "blue" an intermediate to advanced.

 

yeah and its very dangerous right now ....the roads are full of dirt/mudd ... and its also a little icy.... me and lek went there on the weekend ... and i wouldn't go back until the weather gets better.... do we have any alternative routes?

 

if you guys go to "blue" from rte 7.... and are planning to come back down rte 50... you should take a detour thru backroads of middleton...
