Seeing as though we've gotten a pretty crappy response to this one thing that we could possibly do (only if you feel comfortable) is maybe even asking some others that you know that would like to donate. With the cash we get, we can put it towards getting the food. Just another way to reach our goal and above.
What the hell is this $hit. only 7 peeps stepping up to do some good for needy people? WTF is wrong with you people. you cant ******* go to happy hour every week but you can spare some "chump" change for the needy. This is ridiculous. Even Terry who barely makes much and is in college is stepping up. WTF is this man... I've lost a lot of respect for you guys... seriously.

Lek, chill. I don't think charity should ever be imposed on anyone, and no one should ever be "expected" to participate in any venture, however worthy it might be. With that said, we can always hope for greater participation. However, just because someone does not participate in one opportunity does not condemn them or indicate that they are not otherwise doing what they can to help others out, through other potentially equally worthy avenues. With that said, I've offered to chip in, but have not heard details of the operation, i.e., who is collecting when. Happy holidays.
Has the group considered whether the cereal and peannut butter should be identical, i.e. are any kinds, brands, sizes accepted, or should we keep it consistent for ease of transportation, packaging, and equality among recipients? If so, what are the preferred specs on the items?

Lek... really you can't get mad at people for not wanting to volunteer to help out .... its their choice ... i know i expected a bigger turn out then this ... but whatever... some people rather spend their money for their leisure activities then help out the under-priveleged and you can't get mad at them for it... just make sure YOU do the right thing
