Yeah the word out is that there are some 'crashing' for whatever reason.
The good news is that they are letting these peeps overnight 'em back for a replacement.
Dunno the specifics cause I wasn't paying too much attention. Gave up the gaming along time ago.... to freakin addictive.....LOL

so far no problems at all. It is a bit more noisy than usual due to disc spin and the two fans, but nothing thats annoying. Its a powerhouse compared to its predecessors so I can understand that. I believe ps3 will be the winner in the end, but this 360 is a great unit. I love it so far. I wont be riding a bandwagon this time like I have the last two systems. I will seriously be enjoying them both.

cool, congrats on the game nearing release, the engine obviously looks fantastic with advanced bump mapping and shader effects that rivals the unreal 3.0 engine. IMO Elder Scroll IV and Gears of War are the easily the 2 best looking xbox360 games Ive seen so far. How is the transition to an unified pixel/vertex shader architecture that shares the same pipelines?

The game looks solid. Compared to Screens and in-person visuals I have seen from other games, this somehow seems like it could be done on the current xbox though. Not trying to start anything here, just observation. Some of the enemies textures are weird to me.

IMO elder scrolls IV looks better than just about all xbox360 games out there save for gears of war which uses the unreal 3.0 engine. my take on the current crop of xbox360 games is like its the xbox1.5, the visuals are really not a big step above the xbox. Im talking about perfect dark 0, madden, need for speed wanted, etc. In fact Doom 3 on the current Xbox looks better than perfect dark 0 to me.

if you look at the screenshots on this page, there is an insane amount of polygons being pushed to generate the individual blades of grass and leafs.
the lighting and bump mapping on the armor is also very advanced compared to xbox games. The draw distance is also extremely far, rendering very large open environments. from a technical stand point this looks much more impressive than the rest of the xbox360 lineup ive seen so far.
i hope the gameplay will be as impressive as the graphics. most of the xbox360 games on the market right now seems to be the same ol games dressed up in better graphics without much innovation in gameplay.
