Bolt Patterns? wth?

Hey guys, I was about to buy the SF winnings rims to install for the coming spring. This is the first time I am buying rims so... the site says fits Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3
and what does it mean by "staggered packages" ?
Is it better for me to just buy the package as a whole, tires and rims included?
or to buy the rims seperately. Here's the site I was looking at:

http://www.wheelsdirectonline.com/volk/sfwinning.htm

thanks!! sorry for the newbiness... I searched it and found many people going with the 114.3 bolt patterns.. but i just wanted to be sure. Please help me with those other questions :P

First off...nice choice of wheels. They'll look real good on your G. Now the bolt pattern is something you don't have a choice on, every G35 has the same bolt pattern of 5 x 114.3 so you HAVE to look for wheels with this pattern ONLY!

Staggered pattern refers to the size of wheels on the rear vs. the size of the fronts. Staggered sizes are typically larger (width size) wheels and tires in the rear and this is done to promote better traction in rear wheel drive cars. Most people that buy aftermarket wheels get them staggered.

It is definetly a plus when you are able to purchase a wheel and tire package. Most of the time it is a deal because all you have to do is mount them on your car and drive away! Also, it is suppossed to be a savings value because you don;t have to pay extra shipping for tires and installation and balancing and mounting because it is all included.

Good luck with the purchase!
