Where is the Best Self-Car Wash in the NOVA area?

Now that the temperature is dropping, the conventionaly multi-hour car wash at home will be tough to accomplish. I was wondering if there are any good self-car washes in the area and how much does it cost?

If you mean the pull-through bay type of wash, I use(d) the Sweetwater car wash in Sterling -- it's north of Sterling Blvd, at the second stoplight east of Rt 28. For landmarks, there is a full service car wash, oil change, some other mechanics workshop and a gas station in the same corner. A sign out front claims some sort of ice cream shop, but my best guess is that it's sold inside the gas station's store.

Be careful with Sweetwater and those big type of carwashes...especially if your car is lowered and have rims. The people who drive the cars onto the rails don't take too much caution and you'll end up with some curb rash on your expensive wheels. Also, if you have a dark car..you can pretty much count on swirl marks messing your finish up big time!

I reckon that's why he specified a "self-car wash" I just meant the full service car wash as a landmark, and wouldn't dream of putting my car through that thing.

I dont' know what it's called but it's right near old towne manassas. Just down from the police station. If you're not familiar with manassas drop me a pm and I'll give you directions.

It's a bay type car wash. The kind you need a roll of quarters for.
