Just get some Tein-H. Subtle drop but not slammed. Or get the Tein for the Z I believe for an even lower look.

1 inch drop in clearance is kinda dangerous in my oppinion, you wouldnt have enough clearance for the curbs when you park. youd have to be extra careful everywhere you go out, especially down a steep decline?

Wow, I'm curious to see how this poll actually turns out. I'm one of those drivers whom been sitting right middle of the fence deciding on the same question. No, my car is not lowered right now but, I have a new set of Tein springs and Tokico D-spec shocks sitting in my garage too. I need to make a decision soon.

Lek, dropping the car wit springs is the wrong thing to do... if yo u wanna drop it right... save some money and get some coil overs later when you can afford it

I wouldn't drop it because it will take away from that Lexus like ride quality...But if you are into a sports look and don't mind the harder ride then for sure drop your car!

Well, I just dropped my ride with Tein H for the G35 and I am pleased with the way the front end looks. With the 19's I have, there was a big gap and now I have a much better look not to mention less body roll on the curves. The rear however doesn't look quite as good as I hoped..It looks almost as if there was no drop at all so I am hoping for it to settle some within the next week or two. I must say the ride is not stiff, it's very close to stock. I've had Ground Control coilovers with KYB AGX's on my previous car and this is much smoother in comparison. You guys be the judge..I'll post some pics soon.

Dropping your car has positives and negatives...it's up to you to weigh them out and see if it suits your taste

Negatives...

a) Even though a 1 inch drop isn't that crazy, you will have lower ground clearance so you've got to be careful not to scrape on steep driveways and speedbumps...just gotta take it a little slow and at an angle...if you're usually on the more careful side with your G...then this shouldn't really phase you. If you're the type who doesn't give a **** and likes to just barrel into speedbumps and driveways...you might not like having to adjust the way you drive.

b) Ride stiffness will also be an issue, but that depends on whether you've got the sports package or not. After dropping my sports package sedan w/ stock wheels on Eibachs I didn't notice much of a difference in "bumpiness"..if you don't have the sports package you might feel more of a difference. All in all, the general concensus on the 1 inch drop isn't that big of a difference in bumpiness at all

Positives...

a) Improved looks, lower ground clearance and less wheel gap equals a much nicer looking G.

b) Lower center of gravity improves handling and body roll. I can tell you just dropped one inch, I feel my handling has improved TREMENDOUSLY. Not having the car roll as much lets the suspension really keep down on the turns, and the car lower to the ground creates less drag at higher speeds on the freeway/highway which gives me more of a stuck to the ground feeling.

c) Flame suit on; IMO, I also have found the Eibachs to be better quality springs than the OEM. The feel a little less stiff, and I have more of a "road feel".
