wow, this grew a few pages past what I read last. This is gettin wild. Im glad we got back to the list in the end (back to business). People joke with Pratik by calling him pres. He had an idea and we both ran hard with it so we are both co founders which in the longrun of things is not much more than a novelty to those that join. We do get credit for getting things going but many other key players of which I wont name all because Im old and will forget a name or two, help keep things going and getting better and better.
That being said, I dont know what exactly I am trying to make a large point of but I feel that needed to be said.

This is and was Lek's original idea. As you have seen though, others such as Pratik and myself have had a hand in it wether it be on a large scale or moderately. Let's be honest, the club is a vision and it is going to keep the direction of the key players that started it and those that keep it running. That being said, I feel I had a say so in wether others should drive other cars or not, but just in case people dont understand, it was not something I pulled out of my ***. it was a group decision. This isint some high/mighty car club and I dont feel better than other drivers/cars. Lets get that straight. This was planned for the G club so we keep it the G club. If itwas planned as a general drive then it would be so.

Can we get some harmony here folks? its not like this is the evil galactic empire where Emperor Apu and Darth John rules with an iron fist. theres no point quarreling amongst our selves. Lets be constructive instead of destructive when theres an issue. So instead of going on our own when theres discord, we can always solve things the deomcratic way. we can just do a POLL and make decisions as a group, WE ARE ALL EQUALS HERE, and most importanly we are FRIENDS. Disagreement is inevitable in a group of individuals no matter how organized we are. So lets just make decisions as group, stick together and be harmonious.

I dont think the original planner intended it to be just a G club event, I believe he simply posted here b/c he is friends with alot of the members on this board and therefore wanted them to tag along....I have to honestly say if I plan an event, I will organize it myself and for this exact reason will not let anyone else plan or toss in their ideas. and whomever wants to come may do so, and to avoid other ppl throwing in their .02 on who and whom may not come will NOT be an issue b/c again, i set it up. now other than choosing a date and the drive i dont know what else needed to be 'planned'...just my .02.

i have been getting the impression that alot of us are becoming cocky. i personally cant stand cocky people, and what is worse IMO is guys who are cocky b/c they have nice cars...and the way things are looking things are heading in that direction. if that is the case, please count me out of this and any other G club events. I am a car enthusiast, not just a G enthusiast, apparently some ppl feel the G is the god of all cars or is better than the rest....

I couldnt agree with you more Puria, people have different way of thinkings... it is a G club and the majority of the cars are going to be G's all the time .. but there are people who love the G .. because they are car enthusiasts ... but are not fortunate enough to have a G for many different reasons .... 1) maybe its not affordable 2) maybe they have a family and needed a more practical car ... basically it could be anything .. i think we would be total *******s to say no to people .... i do understand ... what if they drive like idiots ... etc. etc. .... we can always ask them to leave if they are behaving immaturely.... we are here for the love of cars ... or atleast i am ...

+1...

But to add my point zero two....

For John who states that this drive through the ideas of the majority saying that it should only be a "G Club" event...I'm really not sure who you're referring to? Are you referring to Pratik and yourself? Because I see a couple of members coming on here...old....new....brand new.... saying they want to bring someone who's not riding a G, doesn't own a G, but does own another type of car which would be suitable with situation. I myself have invited people from the capital z/g club and several of my friends with evo's. I myself could be rolling up in an....evo...rx7....sti....blah blah blah... And I'm sure the majority of the people wouldn't mind at all...except...for maybe....two?

Secondly you said you had a hand or two in organizing this?....hmmm....where or which part did you organize? Was it.... the grouping? Because that hasn't even been established..unless you and pratik feel it upon yourselfs with the authority invested in yourselves to group them by yourselves. As I remember clearly as day...it was...like stated before by you and many others my idea for this drive. But who the F cares? Really do we have to be that immature? Post after post after post people who have been around said they have no objections and are also planning to bring other people with other cars but you still say it's the majorty's idea.... *laughs* ridiculous. Pratik helped me organize a lot of thoughts.... but the only reason this drive is even taking place is because I took the effort to start it. To do some research. Pratik said to me..something in the sort..."if you want another drive, then you're going to have to plan it yourself, because I don't have the time to do it. And I'm not going to do anything you'll have to plan it to the end..." But really... now that it's become what it is today... a huge a$$ event people want to step up and take credit for it? Then want to regulate things? Please... I'm sure the guys who agree with me would gladly have "our" own drive.

Goodday!!

To any b*tches referring to me, if you have an issue with me lets not do it on the forum. Did I help organize this thing here? you bet your *** I am aiding in it. If my help isnt needed thats fine too. Did I initially plan or do I take a lot of credit for this event. Hell no I dont. IT was Leks idea as stated before. I am the one helping organize groups. If you all want to have other cars in here fine. Go for it. Also, if anyone here thinks that I am being cocky and wont call out names then please address me like a man. Im tired of all this bull*hit talking. Lek, if you are really beefing with me then do come see me before firing off at the mouth like you usually do.

it seems to reitterate (sp?) the original point of this whole argument. there is no "ranks/positions" but some of us here take it upon themselves to do so. the grouping should be done by a group of people...
