How did this product ever get through any companies development/advertising departments? If it were April fools day I'd understand, but this has got to be one of the worst ideas I have ever seen come out of any company.

I look at the official info and it just gets worse.

"The Gizmondo is powered by a Microsoft Windows CE.net platform" - Who would use Windows for a gaming system? Not even MS...

boasts a 2.8-inch TFT color screen - Tiger
4.3 inch, 16:9 Wide screen TFT LCD - Sony

$399 - Tiger ($229 with adware <wtf>)
$249.99 - Sony
....

 

Yeah, I saw it beams ads to your machine 3-4 times a day or something. Thats pretty funny.
