How to plan the perfect drive?
At dinner this past weekend, Lek and I were engaging in an intellectual converstaion about breasts when we got off topic and started talking about planning a drive in MD up my way.
I was thinking (if ppl were willing to come up) we could meet at my house, go for a drive (there are some really nice backwoods up my way, spirited but not too crazy), and then maybe throw some burgers on the grill or something back at my house, crack open a beer, etc.
I have MS Streets & Trips 2005, so I can plan the route and show it to everyone before we go (and print out copies for you Navless ppl like myself).
I tried to plan out a route last night and what I came up with was a 50 mile run. For those familiar with the area it starts in Bel Air, down to Parkville, over to Glen Arm, around Loch Raven Reservoir, up to Hunt Valley, through Jarrettsville, and back to my house.
Is 50 miles long enough, it's probably just over an hour's worth of driving, I can try to plan a longer route if ppl are seriously interested in coming up.
I'm open to advice, suggestions, requests to p!ss off...thanks!
