Clear bra - there are quite a few threads regarding that in this forum. They are pretty pricey however - I believe around $1000, BUT if you're going to get a clear bra, GET IT NOW. Before you know it you'll have some rock chips and then its just not worth getting it done after the fact. I believe Proform is a company that does the clear bra but doing a search in this forum will help.

Tint - Most go with 35% it seems like however 50% is the legal in VA. I live in Maryland and have 35% but never been hassled (prob because 35% is the legal limit in Maryland). I personally think its the right tint percentage and I also have black leather so it looks even darker. As for places to get it, most here will recommend LA Tint (prob. most expensive but will do the best job) and even California Tint. As for me, I got mine done at TNT Tint in Alexandria.

Mods - do you really need ANY mods is the question? Its completely subjective. Most of us just do the little mods you can do because it may affect sound and give you some horses. The G isn't as responsive to bolt-on mods as other cars. You may spend $2-$3K and be lucky if you get 15-20 HP possibly and thats using the RIGHT combo. The best bang for your buck mods however are the JWT Popcharger and the Z-Tube. Will be less than $200 and you should get around 5-6 HP as well as a nice whistling, growling sound at WOT which i personally love.

Clear corners - I do like my car with the clears on them. Easiest mod you can do and cheap. We've probably all swapped out our bulbs as well in the corners to LED's because they produce a white light and look better instead of the amber. (Luckily cops won't really give you any problems about that). Since you have an '06 and have the projectors you can't change out the clearance lights like us! I just went all around the car and swapped them all out for the white lights (domes, side step lights inside, tagplate lights). Little things like that will improve the look of your car.

Hopefully this helps, and welcome to the club!

Actually if you're looking for performance mods...I know motordyne is coming out with a new mod that gets really high gains for 05's. I'm not sure if it'll be the same for the 06's. You might want to read up on that.

Welcome to the club. As far as Clear Bra and tints, you should definately get them. When it comes to performance, and you want a lot of HP gains, FI is the way to go. Bolt on mods have almost negligible power gains, they are mainly for sound. Good Luck and keep us posted on your mods

If you shop around, you can get the clear armor for about $600-700...
I got mine done for $600. But that might be only my area, not sure...
IMO, the stock intake box is a pretty good design as it is... just needs a better flowing filter, but the stock filter looks pretty good as it is too.

Swapping the stock intake with a Nismo cold air is the only change I have made so far besides tinting. Anyone know a good place in Va Beach to get a clear bra put on?

dofu, where did you go for your clear bra for $600? Also, is the clear bra so new that there is only one manufacturer (3M) which is propping the price up?

i just read up on it, +18whp +22/29WTQ but it looses around 8hp in the last 200rpms. biggest gain is around 4000-6000rpm.

There are a couple more, but in my opinion 3M is the best. Its worth every dime.
