It's not actually "chewing tobacco" per say because there is such a thing as Chewing Tobacco like some ballplayers use. I used to "chew" in the Marine Corps and my preference was Beechnut which came in assorted flavors. "Dipping" is done with what is called "snuff" which is a finely blended mixture of tobaccos that you pinch and stuff between your lip and gum...never could get into that stuff.

some guy at my work dips but he also carries around an empty water bottle to spit in every once in a while. everytime he's around, you gotta keep an eye on your drink b/c of that whole accidentally picking up the wrong bottle. gross.
