FYI,

Just heard on the news that they are shutting all gas stations down at 4:00
pm today and they will not be cut back on until Tuesday.

I don't know if this is true someone sent it to me in a email.

yeah I woiuldnt believe that either - especially stuff that you get in an email. Although maybe I should try and run that by my boss so I can get the heck outta here

If this is true, they need to give people advance notice. This is a big holiday weekend with lots of travel.

Weird, someone else told me about this too just now but these rumors spread like wildfire.

On WTOP they just said that its all a rumor though. No worries!!

HOWEVER, someoen passed a station in Lee Highway I think the gas just went up $2.50. It was at $5.39/gallon.

i heard they're going to start using ethanol at all the Citgo and Shell stations.

 

Glad I fueled up 2 days ago at 3.05 a gal instead of the 3.30 I see today!

 

if thats the case, we can take some shots at the stations, cheaper than the clubs!!

 

ok. here is the deal. 4pm shut off is def BS. but what really fueled this gas chrises today is reall true. NO GAS! people starts to see several stations actually closed down due to no gas and then people started to called up each other on the cell phone and sayin "oh shxt! this is for real!!!!!" get your gas while u can!!! then boom! this happened!
this is really big issue right now! somehow gas stations CANNOT get gas from suppliers. they r talkin about "oh we don't know when we can send out delivery trucks cuz we ain't got no gas.!!" and also mentioned about pipe lines got big problems."
This is big problem right now people. I noticed lotta gas station was displaying No gas sign. watch tomorrow more gas station will be out of gas.
I was lookin at the TV, and noticed Governor tried to address we ain't got no problems and go back to your normal life. and I was like How the fuc u can go back to your normal life when you have to pay 5 bucks for regular gas or hell!!!! No gas!!
