Must Read For Meet
Hey guys and gals this is B(Brian).I made the run to philly last night. Not as a test but to meet a new friend lol.But it took me 1.5 hours i goty a map from map quest .I went to Conshohocken Pa.I was about 5 miles from the park on rt 76.It is 98 % highway. We must exercise the utmost caustion.Above the the White Marsh Area the further north you go the faster the speeds get.If we have 20 -25 people we need to be cool with the weaving in and out .There are cars that go slow in the fast lanes we will need to stay together. Also we must use caution at the tolls. For those that do'nt have easy pass we will have to wait.It is very dangerous to pull on the side .It may be better to just get in the slow lane and drive slow until people catch up .That is if the toll is busy.Or we may all need to go through the toll to keep us together .In Maryland you can use easy pass in all lanes. That way we can be together.I saw no cops all the way.My average speed was between 80-110 up mainly on 95.Comming back 80-120. Lets have fun and be safe
Ps i hope this didn't bore anyone no flames please.

awesome brian. it took you 1.5 hrs only?!? damn you were crusin though, hopefully i can make it into the park in 2-2.5 hrs....im about 45 min from B more...lets see wat happens!!
I agree with you B.....I was up in philly for 4 months with work and the drives up and back to DC I was going 90 to 100 and people were passing me so we really gotta stick to the rules if we want to stay together.
I also agree about the tolls, I have a SmartTag and I know I go through that lane without really slowing down at all because you don't have to stop and most others are like that too so it may be dangerous to pull over and wait after going through. We may want to rethink our strategy with the tolls and try everyone going below speed limit in the far right lane till we can get in a line again....

Baback, there is going to be a slight change in plan for the EZ-Pass. Our 2 lines of G's may all go to the far right 2 lanes. EZ-Pass is taken in all the lanes anyways so this way we will be staying together. Just a suggestion which I think may work. The sweepers will be the last ones through and will notify the rest of the group when they're through.
I think you guys should read the driving rules regardless of how fast people usually drive.
I go up to PA weekly on business. There are definately troopers along Maryland. I can even tell you where the spots are. To think you can run at 80-120 is totally foolish. They WILL put you behind bars. I know because I work with law enforcement in the tri-state area.
I think the rules set forth for the drive should be obeyed. No one pass, and no one speed. As many as us going down the road will definately get the trooper attention. They will set up radar spots as soon as they get wind of us rolling down I-95N, you can bet on that. I think the local Sheriff will come out as well.
As far as getting through toll booths, I think we should pull off to the shoulders and wait for others as soon as one pays. We only resume rolling once everybody fall back in line. If we have large enough number of cars, people will notice us and may stay away from us.
It's my suggestion.
