I live in Bowie. For me I can either go up 495 to 95N or take 97N Up to 495. Its about the same time/distance for me.

 

Since I'm just outside B'Mo, I plan on meeting up with the club at the Waffle House. If you are coming from Bowie and decide to go I-97N, I can meet you at the I-97/Veteran's HWY exit.

 

That sounds like a plan. Im trying to picture where that exit is and whats there. Is that before the 695 exits?

Hey guys, I appreciate you guys coordinating this stuff on your own. Its unfortunate we couldnt fit in a Baltimore meeting point but since the other stop is at the Waffle House hopefully that is cool.

 

how long does it take to get to baltimore from where we are? about an hour? we could get an approximation of time and try to link up with the people in that area through their cellphones... or even on two way if they're within range.

 

Im guessing about an hour from the meeting point to B-more. So Im thinking you guys will be rolling thru the harbor tunnel around 9:30ish?

At any rate, a call with the radio channel would be a good idea so we can be listening. Maybe after you guys hit the tunnel give one of us a call on the Cell and we can play it by ear?

Oh yes, well before the 695 exit. If you guys like, we can meet by the Wal-Mart, right off I-97N. Here is a pic. The blue arrow points to the exit you need to take.

 

I heard 495 will be down to one lane this weekend for construction on Wilson Bridge section. You may want to think of an alternate route to get to I-95N, or leave a little early. The closure of the Beltway will start Saturday a.m.

Eddie - Wilson Bridge is in the opposite direction though. We'll be taking the 495 from the tysons area to Bethesda and then we'll take the 495 through Silver Spring up to 95. We'd be away from this traffic.
