Hey guys,
I am officially going to Miami for Vacation in about 2 weeks. I was wondering if any of you have been there and if so what are some places I need to visit and places I need to avoid. Any other advice and tips would be greatly appreciated. For those of you who know the location, I will be staying at the Royal Plaza Hotel on the 1500 block of Collins Avenue.

I've been there plenty of times visiting my brother who goes to school down there.

 

Stylez, I know the area kinda well.

Depends on what scene you're into. You like dancing, chill bars, hot spots, see famous people? I know quite a bunch of places.

If you like dancing you'll like Space and Mansion, both downtown - hot spots club. Mansion is called that for a reason - its HUGE. If you want a gay club (dont ask me why I know this) but Crowbar is your scene then. haha. If you wanna go thug and pack some heat, check out Sugar Ray's club on the strip. Cant remember the name but Club Deep is also kinda thuggin as well. Oh yeah, you wanna salsa or meringue, Gloria Estefan owns this hot stop called Lazio's or Lario's - something like that. Sojo Lounge is alright too - I went on a Lesbian night so thats always fun!

Oh yeah since you're right there check out for sure Sky Bar! I'm sure you'll hear all about it since you're on Collins and its a few blocks down. REAL hot spot. Prob see some celebs there and chill lounge type. Problem is get ready to dress nice AND spend some $$$. You'll have to pay the bouncer to get in - its the only way really unless you wanna wait 3-4 hours (Me and my boy tipped him 80 for both of us). Its like if you've ever been to GhostBar and Rain at the Palms in Vegas, get ready to spend the cash to get in!!
