Any of you in the area have an aftermarket front bumper? Like the Top Secret or Greddy? Just wondering how you mounted your license plate if you even bothered. I drove my old RX7 for 2 years with no front plates. But then started getting pulled over once a month. Got to be a pain in the a$$. Don't want a repeat of that.

 

I think most dont bother however, I saw a CB coupe here on the forums that has a Greddy bumper and mounted the plate in the grille. I thought it looked pretty good personally and IF i were to ever get a greddy thats what i'd prob. do.

i've only been stopped once for it.. now I keep the plate in the car, so I can throw in on the dash real quick when I see those lights..

 

how much does the TS cost? It looks awesome IMO

 

It is pricey but special order from Japan. It is normally around 900 plus shipping. You can get the Greddy for 1/2 the price but the TS bumper flows with the car much better. Wait time for the bumper sometimes is said to be 6 to 8 weeks if the company does not have it in stock.

 

There are also replicas out if you wanted to go that route. I'd like to get a new bumper but with how bad our roads are I feel like its going to crack pretty easily - also since the G is my winter car.

 

I am going to go to one of the auto auctions down near my house and buy a 2500 dollar Jeep for the winter.
