Please help preserve the G's image

Folks, it seems that our G's are a target of the cops. Whether its because of its innocent good looks or becuase of the aggressive driving that it can sometimes inspire for some drivers, the G's are magnets. I knew this from early on in my ownership with a run-in with a state trooper on 66, but was rudely reminded of it tonight when a cop tailed me for a while and then finally pulled me over and asked me to blow into a breathalizer. Thankfully I passed it, but nevertheless, I was driving completely innocently and still attracted such attention.

Please do your part to preserve and/or restore the image of our G's by being responsible out there. I'd hate to have to give up this car for an emasculated alternative.

Thanks for such an awe-inspiring speach

In our way back from the meet up at Bahama Breeze, I was doing what I could to keep the speed down. There were actuall open roads on the 95's heading up there.

Next week is a big week for the smooth operator program. They are going to have extra police out on the roads and they are going to be going after people. Just be ready. Have a friend who is a state trooper here in VA. He said it is a big crack down week so take it easy on the roads. This is in VA/MD and DC.

If they pull over and ticket you for agressive driving the fine can be up to 1000.00 and 6 months in jail.

I was told that if your car is stock (no aftermarket exhaust or rims and flashy things) cops think that you are a grown up and wont stop you unless they have a reason. I hope this is correct as I am driving without my license for 3 weeks now. I got my wallet stolen and I still haven't gotten a new one (I am waiting because I will no longer live where I currently live so I need to get an address change anyway).

naaaaah no tix, i noticed all the cars that they had pulled aside for seatbelts were nicer cars....but i had left my wallet in the hotel so i didnt have my ID on me....so he let me go!!!

Funniest thing happened there: a redneck guy (greg's relative) pulled up next to me w/ an old truck w/ gardening tools in the back. 'Is that ther a porschah?' i said 'No, its an infiniti...' so then he said 'o so you wen an got er all customized'....i said 'yes' and the light turned green....i dipped as i swore he was knotting some rope in his hands while he asked me 20 questions.
