Sooo I was leaving the (Lifetime-centreville) Gym last nite when this kid in an 03-05 Black G swerved around 2 other lanes to get next to me. Now normally as everyone else says i aint into the whole road racing...buuuut he looked a little too excited and too confident so i had to put his stock a$$ into check!! lool, j/k

So he pulls up and off we go. If I had to guess Id say it was an 03-04 bone stock w/ stock 18s b/c most 05s I see have the 19s. Anyways light turns green we both got about the same start but halfway into first I had him by about a half car length. Right as I get into second I notice a damn truck gets into my lane, but as you all know thats never stopped me b4 so I hit the shoulder on the bridge going over (28) to pass the truck!! (God I drive like a d1ck!!) Id say he was surprised I was so willing and crazy to use a shoulder to pass the truck Well shortly after 60mph or so I had to veer back right for the off/on ramp onto 28 goin towards 28 dulles. No wave or props or nothing!! my appetite for mods has just resumed...hi flow cats/exhaust are next!!

Anyways overall a good feeling as I know my damn wheels bog/slow me down. I have seriously debated taking off my wheels for this reason. I used to be able to smoke my 18s but these 19s are alot heavier/wider and give me more traction and weight which is good for turns/curves but bad for road racing!! hahaha, i feel good though b/c i took his a$$ even though I had an obstacle to clear!! Although I had a 1/2-1 car length by 60mph I know w/ my 18s it wouldve been a diff. story. So i guess mods do make a diff.....

I actually did race Lek on reston pkwy and I had him by more than half a car length....He gives all you 6MT owners a bad name!!

 

nice I raced an m3 wednesday night on 495 and an evo on 66 last night. Did well against the m3 even though he was riding my *** most of the time but got dominated by the evo. hah The dudes Evo license plate was SIC EVo I was ****ing with him on the 66 left exit on 495 heh. I just wanted to see him dip out .

the rear diffuser was the sticker you had right? ... i thought u said .. its next to impossible to do it ...but anyways good luck... what front lip did you get? ... OEM?

 

ya its an OEM front lip..no the NISMO rear diffuser is an actual aero part...not the sticker...that sticker is an overlay which is still sitting in my trunk. here's the NISMO rear diffuser...

How much did that rear diffuser from BAT cost you? I was thinking about getting that but after seeing yours, just seemed tough to put on. I think it would look nice on your car. If willing, I may get that from you and get it put on by a tint shop just to see how it'll look on mine. From the pics I've seen on a DG it looks pretty good (the overlay that is).

As for your Nismo diffuser, I bet that'll just give you the kick in the pants you're looking for! Well, while it won't give you 5hp, I agree it should look great. As for your rims, I'm telling you my skinny's with pricier rubber were the way to go - ha!
