Are these tacky?

Just trying to shop for some rims. Not sure if these are too much chrome for a G35.

http://www.superbuytires.com/wheels/...Asanti/AF+118/

If that is too much chrome you can get them in gun metal here.

btw the color of the car is Caribbean Blue.

What do you guys and ladies think? Thank you for any input!

I dunno not really feeling the gunmetal ones. IMO if you like something then you should get it. Doesn't really matter what other people say. Chrome is not for everyone but if it's for you then do it. Celebs put it on their cars all the time.

Just having a hard time finding rims I like for the G35. Kinda like the PIAA wheels but they look close to what the stock ones look like. Tons of people are getting the Volks.

I like these wheels but not 100% sold on them.

they both look pretty good, IMO. the styling is pretty good, not overly flashy, so i think you could get away with either one on a CB.

If you want chrome what about Maya's? Just a thought. Or you can always buy rims and get it chromed. Volks is what everyone is going with. PIAA's are hot.

I have a friend w/ a black G35C who has some black painted Asanti's w/ a polished lip. They look SICK! I like the wheels and I thikn they'd look nice. I like anything w/ a big lip, and if you can get some color on their for contrast...your good to go. Personally the polished wheels dont look bad as long as they dont have the cheap chrome look and you'll pay good money for Asanti's so I wouldnt worry about that.

I agree w/ Norm though...my first choice would DEF be DPEs.

Hmmm I kinda like the Maya RT5's here. They come in polished. Would rather have polished instead of Chrome.

I do like the RT5's. Personally at least on a car that is CB, I wouldn't go with Gunmetal on 'em.

I've been having a hard time finding rims for the G35 too. So far, I'm somewhat leaning towards some Breyton Rims.

Yah, I was figuring around 1000 per wheel. Then tires will run another 1000.

ya i normally am not a big fan of gunmetal on anything thats not silver or white...but theres a guy on this forum a2ncharm who has a CB coupe w/ gunmetal volks that looks just sick IMO. I also believe a guy in VA, VA beach area who has a CB coupe w/ gunmetal SF challenges and it looks good IMO. His screenname is DoingOK, lemme see if i can grab u some pics.
