Got VERY Lucky in the Office Parking garage

So here's the story:
I am at work and an email goes out to the whole company that read's: "Will the owner of a White Acura RL License Plate XXX-XXXX please see the security desk." I assumed the owner left their lights on or was parked illegally and thought nothing of it.....until I started walking towards my car after work. I notice a White Acura RL parked right next to me with the owner outside of his car examining his bumper and taking pictures of it. It doesn't really click in yet until I get into my car and the man starts knocking on my window. I get out and he asks if I have been parked here all afternoon and I say "Yes" I walk to his bumper and see that it has been backed into resulting in deep scratches and slightly dented. He tells me that witnesses saw a White Lexus SUV back into his car then drove off. MAN..how crazy is that!? Another two feet to the left and my *** would have literally gotten torn up. I meticulously looked around my car to make sure nothing happend...thank goodness it was fine. I am never parking in that area again. I hope that Lexus works here, i will definately say something to him/her about not leaving a note behind...

I second that, but when I was younger I probably would have done the same thing but now that I have my first car in my name it's a totally different story. What a close call.

i can't recount how many times i've seen that happen just on the streets of dc. people trying to parallel park, even with 25 ft. spaces, and COMPLETELY ramming into other cars without any caution.

i once saw a girl driving a celica, back into a space, hit the car behind her, pull up, hit the car in front of her, back up and hit the car behind her again, then take off because she couldn't do it.

bah!
