I just installed some LED bulbs in my clear corners yesterday and are considerably whiter and brighter than my previous PIAAs. I got them from www.superbrightleds.com for 12.99 (shipping included). I think for the price theyare a great value. Anyone here have the LED bulbs also? Now the only problem is maybe getting pulled over with those bright *** bulbs.
I have PIAA's in the clear corners and will be putting those same 194 Bulbs into my clearance strips. Did some research with John and heard about the directional problems with the LED's. They do look cool and my PIAA's will go out before yours ever do but I'm happy with how mine look. Maybe we can compare side by side which ones are brighter.
I also have the PIAAs in my clear corners and clearance lights.
You used the same wedge bulbs in the clear corners into the clearance light correct? How hard was it to get in there? I researched the forum and some have taken their wheels off and went in under the wheel well. Others have just reached in behind the headlight. What did you do?
What did I do? I think I'll find out on Saturday for sure since I gotta put in new fogs and clearance strips.
Nah, I was asking Byrnie since he already had his clearance bulbs installed. I just went through the forums again and apparently you have to peel back the fender well to get to it.

I did the wheel well thing
5 or 6 plastic pop-off clips and 2 real screws, it's kind of a pain in the *** to get it in there, you have to like put it in and then screw it and one of them wouldn't stay in for awhile. Yes I used the same ones in the clearance that I did with the clear corners.
