Tire Talk

Just curious what tires everyone likes. I was looking (looking for me usually involves my credit card... :P) at Toyo Proxes T1s and the BFG KDW G-Forces. Also I'm just curious and don't know much about cars but I was wondering what other gains you get from wider tires besides steering/handling. Does it help acceleration a bit but it doesn't slip as much? Tell me your thoughts . I woke up all hungover this morning and started looking at an issue or Sport Compact Car magazine. So I was just wondering if you guys could educate me on this briefly, thanks .

Tires is actually one of the most important mods for a car. There's tires for drag, cornering, drifting, everyday driving, racing, etc. Anyways depending on what you are looking for as a driver. What tires do you currently have on your car? Are you looking at rims as well? Lighter rims will always help. The rule of thumb is per ever inch you get one pound. So if you are getting an 18inch rim and it was 1 million lbs then that'd be stupid. The rims I'm getting for my car is 18inch and weighs 19lbs.
