Hey all,

My name is Baback and I joined the National G Club a couple weeks ago but haven't been able to post any threads or go to the Skyline drive because of business and being out of town. I just wanted to introduce myself and let you all know I've joined the club. A little bit about myself......I'm 23 yr old guy (in case you couldn't tell by my name) and I own an '03 Black G35 coupe. Hope to get to know you all in the future......

I also have one question.....I assume a lot of you guys have tinted your windows. Where do you guys recommend getting it done or staying away from? I've talked to a few BMW owners but would like to hear from some people who actually own my car. I'm willing to go anywhere in NOVA/DC/MD.

I Have an OB Coupe as well ... and i just got my car tinted last weekend. i posted some pics in the "Roll call" thread for the DIY day. you can check it out. I would recommend where i got it from. the guy Charges $170 for the tint and $15 if you want VInyl over your Dot-Matrix.

 

$15 for Vinyl??? Damn thats real cheap.

As for tints, lots of good places around here. There's a few tint threads. One is located on the last page here in the forums of local places of a thread I started as well as on the Roll Call page you'll find some discussion on it. I'd recommend LA Tint around here. I got mine done at TNT Tint - he also did my old car which is a BMW. If you talked to Bimmer guys they've probably heard of it - its in Alexandria.

I've lived in NOVA my whole life. Currently, I live in Ashburn which is next to Dulles Airport but I'll be moving in late september/early Oct to a condo I just bought right across from the Dunn Loring Metro over in Tysons.

Yep..I still have stock everything. I don't really even know what is offered or what I could get done to my car...I have never gotten into Mod cause my dad wouldn't let me do anything to the Accord he bought me when I was in high school.

Some quick questions about the Tint......I read the Tint thread and I was wondering how did the Tint job look at the place off Route 7 by Baron Cameron? I drive by that place everyday and try to see their work but it seems like there is no one ever there.

Also, I live in VA but want to get 35% which is illegal. Does anyone know the fine or if police really check for tint shade, etc? I don't want to get 35 if the fine is some crazy high *** charge which seems like something Virginia would do...

Yeah those are the ones.......Wilton House Condos. I'm on the 9th floor, got a two bedroom with my friend. What about yourself?

 

i'm in a one bedroom on the 6th floor. nice, at least i'll know one of my neighbors right off the bat!
