Tints!

After much debate, i have decided that im going to go for Legal tints 50/35. i just thought it wasn't worth going Illegal because last thing i want is stupid tickets to pay off. Does any body have 50/35 on the car? .. if yes can u please post pics. Thanks.

I'd suggest you NOT to go two tone tint. Just get 1 all around. I've always thought having mismatched tint looked tacky. I'd get 35% if I were you. Thats what I run all around and I like it. Not too dark but not too light. On an OB though is a different story....

On the website there's one of my car and tints that John took driving by I believe during our Skyline trip.

I would have to agree with Pratik, arjunz, it's really not going to look too good. I might go get tints after work tomorrow if you want to come? Where is a good place in VA? Is LA Tint a good place in sterling off of 28?

Well it's because I dont' have a paging alarm yet. I'm waiting to get one then I'll tint my windows. I know how the "criminal" mind works. They usually go for cars with tints first thinking that there must be something to take. It's from personal experience from back in the days....just thought I'd share the knowledge.

Wow, 160? Is it a business or a guy that does it on the side? Good work? Can I get in on this deal? The places like LA Tint are charging 250 and up. Thx, let me know

Yeah definitely invest. Then also invest in a glock or some type of semi-auto weapon for the times when the paging system alarms.

Other tips to prevent criminals....

1.) Don't blast you're music too loud in your own neighborhood or near it. Even if you don't have an aftermarket system, if you're making enough noise they may think that you have something they can take...

2.) Keep the car tidy. Don't leave jackets, bags and crap in plain view.

3.) sleep with one eye open.... LOL J/K

Remember one thing the person who's breaking into your car could be anyone... it's likely someone who knows you... or sees you around. Sometimes it could be suspicious people with names like Puria .... It could also be a homeless person or drifter who's looking for some change. So if your car looks like there's nothing to steal then they won't break into it. But when you tint your windows you've just increased the chances of getting your **** jacked a good 50 percent. If you were in a parking lot with 50 cars. And there was 10 cars including yours with your windows tinted. Your chances of getting jacked is pretty high.

^LOL, Lek thats pretty good!! i agree w/ you on the window tints etc...however i also know the criminal mind and know on cars ranging from 35k+ that the criminal mind also worries about alarms etc etc....therefore they arent quite as willing to 'test' them. however put tint on a 98 integra....and ur askin for trouble....im not worried about it anyways...i dont got much in the car worthy of jacking...(stock HU/speakers etc). thats the reason for my allstate insurance...and in case someone does break in...that'll give me more reason to get an in dash dvd

i been workin in dc this whole week which is why i cant get online to check the site....kinda sux...but i'll be back next week to post to all your smart *** comments!

35% all around is the legal limit in MD. TECHNICALLY, if you put 35% on your car, you're actually around 32% because of the slight stock tint thats on the car already I think?

Cops really won't give you hell about it (especially me since I'm legal). Things like radar detectors they will. Thats why when I got pulled over I chucked that thing in the back and covered it up.
