As Pratik has stated, the weather is looking bad for this weekend, but we have no problem still holding the meet if the numbers are right. Members, please, if you havent signed up on the National G Club Website please do so, and please vote weather you will be able to attend this week.

Our local weathermen are backwards (we all know this)....The weather may break long enough for us to have the meet but they'll call for rain all day.

 

From the posts, no location was set for certain, but a few indoor spots were mentioned. IF it does in fact rain, why not just make the meet indoors??

 

Well the plan was to meet at the park and then head over to Hooters for some food. I'd still like to meet at the park if possible and if we have to go over to Hooters sooner than later so be it

Puria, maybe you can borrow Kelly's PowerPuff-mobile to complete the ensemble. Oh, and make sure the pink shirt's got some nice pretty trees on it, so we can all make sure to remember which person prefers flag to tackle... Kidding aside, looking forward to the meet/drive, so I hope the weather permits the latter.

 

I am not a fan of driving on the rain in my G so I am not sure. I would suggest we go to a parking lot with an overhead such as Dave and Busters or some other place on the Pike with the same set up. If the parking is dry and next to aother G then I probably would come, eliminating interior tracking and door dings

Ahh c'mon Mark. The G performs well in the rain. It'll be okay.

In fact I was just talking with Kelly (who lives in Delaware) and even she says she will probably come if its raining.

That means all you guys can suck it up and meet everyone! After all it is the first meet right!!

 

So we're meeting at a park right?

 

Pratik, I mentioned to my gf how the folks are torn whether to come to the meet in the rain, and she suggested that it might be a good idea for the Nat G Club to offer logo'd umbrellas... that way we could stand around in the rain w/ solidarity... just a thought.
