Any suggestions on double din unit to get (with navi)?? Just got my kit with ac controls, nice & new killer deal!!! $125 on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=130137972075

I believe a lot of the newer double din dvd/navi can't be operated while in motion. Older model you can bypass, but newer one uses a speed sensor and you must hack. I believe this is the case for the newer Z1 or whatever. I'm not expert, but that's what i came across when i researched like 6 months ago

dd conviersion allows for the use of dd head unit. stock console does not allow for the larger dd head units so the center piece holding the radio and climate control must be changed out to accomidate an aftermarket radio.

You don't loose you dual climate control. You have to take it off your stock unit and attach it to the aftermarket one.

I like the new Alpine. I am currently running the Kenwood 8017 and love it though!

Jesus's can't put in directions while its moving. That does kind of suck but I'd have to think you can change it. After all anything is hackable. I can put in directions on mine going as fast as I want
