Transformers

Saw the movie last night. There were some things that I did not like (i.e., some cheesey love story lines/scenes, all American cars not true to the cartoon, and not enough Autobots), but overall, it was awesome! Curious to see if anyone else saw it and what they thought?

I am going to go see it this weekend. I am pissed that Bumblebee is a damn Chevy Cobalt and not a Volkswagon Beetle.

Yeah, that irritated me too, but he is actually a Camaro, so it's kind of cool...Enjoy!

I haven't seen this yet, but I have preliminary rants:

-Robots have 50,000 hanging parts all over the place. All I need to do is throw a handful of dirt at them and wait for them to grind to a halt.

-Transformers + GM commercial + Michael Bay/Spielberg pocketing cross marketing $$$ from GM = No VW Bumblebee and GM koolaid

-Shia LeBouf???? His name means **** the Beef in French, I rest my case.

I thought it was pretty bad azz!! The story was pretty good, and a lot of the action scenes were filmed flawlessly. The CGI was incredible with great detail. This was obviously the first of a large franchise of movies.
