Saw the movie on 7/3/07 at Fairfax Corner 14 Delux, digital theater.
Raves:
-Peter Cullen as Optimus
-Starscream as an F22 Raptor
-The movie line: "Starscream, you fail me again!" and "One shall stand, one must fall!"
Rants:
-Optimus is a wuss against Megatron. When did this happen?
-Jazz the black transformer? Gets owned like a Star Trek red shirt by Megatron.
-Shia LaBouf. Do I even need to explain?
-Bumblebee's voice is whack. He sounds more like Einstein than the small fry autobot that everyone loves.
-Why do Transformers use shelled guns and cannons? What happened to lasers and energy weapons? We only see it in the first scene where a U.S. base gets owned and after that, nothing.
-Saebo rounds are TF weaknesses? What happened to the invisible force field? Regenerative armor? How does that explain the autobots landing on Earth like meteorites? They would have endured tens of thousands of degrees from the entry.
-Cold stops TF Megatron and Bumblebee? Excuse me, but space travel exposes them to almost 0 Kelvin temperatures, colder than anything on Earth.
I wish they focused more on the technical details instead of turning this into a live action cartoon.

hands down one of the best movies ive seen in a long time besides 300 i will probably go see it again and lots of special effects camaro is sweet any body know wut the price of the new camaro is going to go for might trade the g in for one

Sucked that Jazz died, but props to some of the good guys dying...makes the movie more interesting if it's not entirely a happy ending.
I thought Shia LaBouf was actually pretty good despite having some really lame lines.
A lot of the technical points are a little beyond me, but I agree, they seemed a little too vulnerable.
On another note, the Camaro was sick, but if I was going to blow my wad on buying a top-of-the-line suped up American muscle car, I would go with the Mustang...the first chase/fight sequence with Bumblebee (voice was weird) and Barricade was awesome!

saw it today ... totally hands down bada$$.
amazing action, cg was ridic awesome ... good comic relief, and the chick is HOT as F
only one small, small complaint -> wasnt bumble bee a small beetle or something? why was he a camero? lol
