You'll definitely need to drop your car for aftermarket wheels. For 19"s, I'd at least get 350Z H-techs and for 20"s, you'll have to go with at least 350Z S-techs in terms of springs/drop. Coilover is the best bet but they're money. If you don't drop your car at all, you'll look 4x4. It shows even worse on 20"s due to the lower profile tires.

^ I hear ya. I can handle the springs, but the coilovers are too much. At that point, I would say F-it and drop a lot more money into my car all around.

If you go with 350 S techs on 20s you will probably want to roll your fenders. I have some paint chipping on my front fender from the tires rubbing at turns.

I was told that you can only roll the rear fenders and not the fronts but I'm not sure.

Good luck with your search.

Carl, if you get the 19s just get the 350Z H-Tech's. Won't have to worry about camber (at least almost all have not worried about it) and will look a lot better!! You just have to buy the springs and get them installed by Lek's hookup. It won't be very expensive at all

Sounds good. I'll probably make up my mind this weekend. It seems like 19's are the safer choice, so I'm leaning that way. If so, I'll definitely hit Lek up for his connection on the spring installation. Thanks for all the input...it really helps since I have little to no experience with mods.

Here are some picks of the Sevas S-7's on stock suspension:

http://g35driver.com/gallery/browsei...mageuser=32317

Do you guys think that looks 4 x 4? I PM'd the guy and he said he just bought G35 H-Techs and will send pics of the car dropped. He also said he did not have to roll his fenders.

Any reason you guys were recommending the 350Z springs over the G35 springs?

you'll never land works in the sub 3k range with tires. If you want a set of work 18s w/ tires then yes. Works are > Volks. Volks w/ tires ~3200-3600. Works w/ tires will run 3400+. +1 on the Sevas, Axis wheels are known to bend easy and we have potholes like sheit here. Also from personal experience, dont buy a wheel that is not widely available like the one thats out of stock at tire rack. I bent one wheel, and lost out all the money I spent on my first set of wheels b/c no supplier could get me a replacement. In the end it was a waste of 2700 for rims/tires and I ended up getting a set of volks for 3200. Do it right once and save urself money and a headache. Get the sevas, more easily available and better quality IMHO.

If you get s techs you will prob. rub, but not with H techs. ALso its all about what size tire you get. If you get >245 in the front or 275 rear you will most likely rub. Again other factors come into play like wheel offset and rim size...

Here are the tire specs for the package I'm considering:

Yokohama AVS ES100

245/35/20 F
275/30/20 R

Still undecided about 19's or 20's, but if I go with the 20's, I'll get the H-Techs to avoid any rubbing.

I am pretty sure you wont rub w/ that setup on 20s. (85-90% sure). Whomever you order from can confirm this!!
