Won't believe This One!!!!

Went to have my Coupe emmissioins tested today - - pulled up to a lane, and saw the testers pointing at my car. My first thought was "Holy #$@%, I am going to fail because of the Turbo!!!" Well, one of the testers came up to me and said, "Your car is too low for us to test it; you have to get out of line, and go to customer service." So, I did... I told the customer service rep that my Car was too low to be tested - - she went out an looked at it, and then came back inside and wrote me a "Passed" certificate good for another two years, and didn't even charge me the 14 beans they usually charge... I was in shock!!!

Anyway, moral of the story is, "Lower your Coupe on Tein Flex Coilovers, and you won't ever have to pay for your emmissions test A-GAIN!!!!" Plus, you'll always pass...

Just thought I'd share!

ALMOST FORGOT: I ORDERD MY AXIS SHINES - - THEY'LL BE AT JE IMPORTS NEXT THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!

What State inspection did you have done? Whenever I go to have the Maryland Emission test done, they just hook up their computer to the engine control port and get a read-out. As long as your vehicle is 1996 or newer, that's all they have ever done. Are they changing their policies now?

Yep, Maryland. No, policies are not changing, but I still got nervous when the Tester kept pointing at my bumper and/or intercooler...

Oh man, can't believe i've never mentioned this to you guys before, but i've done this about a couple times wih my previous cars.

Definitely lower it enough for them to think it's too low to get through the treadmill rollers and they'll pass you with flying colors in maryland(not sure about other states).

H-tech drops might not seem low enough, maybe put a big a$$ lip on the front.

Brian,

Why did they fail your car at the GB station? What plugs did you put in to pass?
