Had a nice little run with a bmw335 tt.

I sall one sitting at the light on shwann rd at the hunt valley mall,so i pulled up next to him and said i like the twins that come with the 335,s.He said your car looks good but ive never seen a g with that hood and then he said is it quick.Well being the a-hole that i am i said you wanna see.
Well as we all know when it turned green that was it,i pulled 2 1/2 cars(about,im quessing) and kept it at the same space up till about 90 when i let off. I have to give prop,s to bmw for a quick *** stock car.If i wasnt going to keep this car i think that would be my next car.

Nice man. Hadnt thought of you going up against one, but interesting turnout. I would have predicted your pulling and pulling away, but 2.5 cars is nothing to sneeze at.

John thats the problem with the stillen,it,s ***** to the walls from a standing start to the about 6,000 rpms and it just dosent produce power after that.If we had kept on going he would have caught me and passed.

damn... I see what you mean. the 335i doesnt have much up top either though. if you ever see a dyno, they fall off up top drastically too.

hey keith is your motor stock? did you have to change anything at all? and also the stillen is direct bolt and play right? Meaning no tuning required? How often do you change your oil? How often do you drive the car hard (ie. maxing out each gear). How long have you had this kit?

^^o great the man whom i pleaded with to get the stillen is finally asking questions....

motor is stock (except he upgrades the injectors I believe and add's a 7th injector) He upgrades the pulley for stage 4, there may be another piece I'm forgetting at this point. But it basically works off of an existing stillen kit if im not mistaken. No tuning is required as the SS box the stillen provides is already tuned and 'locked' for a conservative tune. Oil (guessing he uses synthetic) is probably changed every 4-6 k give or take (just like a normal G) and he prob. drives hard as often as you have. And I believe he's had the kit after the first year of ownership... (after 10-12k miles?)..

Sorry Keith, I love the stillen so Ive read alot about it

Most ppl really underestimate the stillen kit. I've said it once and I'll say it again, stillen Z/Gs post some of the better times for FI (mid/low 12s). I even saw a video of a Stillen G stage 2-3 vs a TT Z. Well the G blows the Z off the line, but towards the end the Z catches up (turbo lag and better #s up high). Both ran 12s however....

VERY respectable for a company whose stage 2 provides you a 3 yr/36k mile engine warranty!! But it is pricey, $5300 for stage 2 I believe!!

Its a stock block and the kit just bolts right on,it took me about 8 hours to install it.No tuning and it still has the stock injectors but with a huge 7th injector for stage 4.I use amsoil synthetic and i change it every 7,000 miles with an amsoil filter.I have had this on since late 2003 and it has about 33,000 miles on it.I only get on it when the need arises.
