Thoughts on - 10K Xenon HID Conversion Kit Crystal Blue

All - Not that familiar when it comes to th headlights on our cars. I cam across these on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/10000...0415QQtcZphoto

I'm thinking this would be wayyyyy to bright! Looking for a possible upgrade from what I have now. Thoughts?

No def. not!! 10K you won't see anything at night, albeit very blue. I have 6000K Philips and love them and get compliments on the color. I've researched quite a bit and 8K is the max i'd go because of the light output but even then seeing at night would be very tough. I'd stick to 6K if I were you and I think you'll like the results. 10K is just way too blue and you won't see at night.

Did you just get the replacement bulds? I wouldn't necessarily need a kit right? Recommend any places? This is where I bought my replacment Int./Lic. plate LED's: http://www.hid-lights.com/ Thoughts?

Yah, I just got bulbs but I don't have the projector headlights that you have I just have the 04 lights and they are plug and play. You may want to check over in the lighting section but from what I think you just have to replace your bulbs in your projectors with 6000K's if you choose that way but you just need to make sure they fit your ballast.

You should be able to just buy a replacement bulb. 10K is overkilled, will draw cop attention and you won't see anything unless it's pitch black and no rain. If anything, it'd look rice like you have some aftermarket conversion kit people put on their non-HID headlights. I have 8K and i can barely tell if my lights are on when it's rain. I had 6K before and they were more visible for sure.

Yes, definitely 6000k. I have a conversion kit for my girlfriend's honda with 6000k. Not too stock, not too riced-out either. It seems brighter and more visable than my stock G35 HIDs...IMO
