No no, Kansas is going to win. They're going to beat my team, Villanova, in round 2 and then go on to win.

Why?
2006 - Villanova gets to Elite Eight, looses to eventual champion Florida
2005 - Villanova gets to Sweet Sixteen, looses to eventual champion UNC (on a horrible call nevertheless)

 

Kansas loves to choke, they lose in the 1st round the past 2 years i believe. they have a great team this year, but somehow i think their record is not too comparable because they played a relatively soft schedule in the big 12. but well see, they are a #1 seed after all.

 

Jackson State, Virginia Tech, Eastern KY, Central Conn State. Virginia Tech FTW, No?

 

UNC, Ohio State, Oregon, VA Tech

I can see VA TECH upsetting Kansas.. with that being said, i think this year in particular is tough to pick a winner is because there is no sole "DOMINATING" force IMO.. anything can happen, thats why you gotta love college ball.

I'm curious to see what first round upsets you guys picked..

i think Florida is and UNC are pretty dominant. especially Florida, the way they dominated the tournament last year.. how they embarrassed UCLA, and returning all 5 starters with more experience at every position. thats pretty dominant to me. no ones invincible, but picking against Florida is tough

 

UNC is dominant? we (Hokies) beat them twice! lol but yeah they are a good team.. as far as Florida, i think the terps are going to give them a hard time. If Vasquez and Hayes can get their act together.. keep the turnovers low and let strawberry, mike jones and Ibekwe step up offensively... i see them upsetting Florida. Yeah i know MD did choke in the ACC tourney... but i think that is going to motivate them to play that much harder in the NCAA tourney.

 

i want us to beat Florida, but its hard to pick against them. we beat UNC too, but they just have too much talent and too deep a rotation, comes turney time when everyones playing their a$$ off, UNC is wont be playing laxed anymore, even though i picked george town to come out of that bracket over them. vatech is a 5 seed, so you guys are cursed cause 5 vs 12 resulted in a lot of upsets every year.

I am a sports fan but this is a car forum and i don't post very much on items not pertaining to the cars i just read them. I will say georgetown will not be there.They are not that strong of a team. It also depends where they are place to start. Some teams have an easy road some teams have a harder road.The best teams don't allways wind up in the championship. My 2 cents.
