take a look at the z-tube/pop charger to start or z-tube/K&N drop-in. If you have those already depending on your year look at the MREV+ or Motordyne spacer.

Telling us your car first would help though

i wouldnt waste my money on modding the G unless if you want to mod the suspension or rims/tires as vic said above. sway bars are prob. the best mod. Dont even waste money on intake/exhaust/headers/pulleys etc, just go FI if you really want the performance. I learned once and wont make those mistakes again

ya esp. w/ the VQ engine. At least with the honda's and evo's and STI's an exhaust/intake or tune/pulleys will make SOME HP...but with the VQ the only true HP worthy mod is to simply go FI. Unless you want to spend around 4-6k and stay NA to get MAAAYBE 300whp (not likely...)

If you're looking into suspension/performance how about starting with some springs? Maybe look into the Z H-Tech/D-Spec combo or go straight for coilovers. Maybe even the Richie strut bar/sway bar combo which will give you tight handling. I agree with Vic and Puria. The sway bars (I prefer Stillen because of the price and being adjustable) was probably the best bang for buck mod because of the improvement in handling and how the car feels.

I used to have a S2000 with sways and coilovers, so I was used to a car that cornered like it was rails. My G came with sways on it and I have not been disappointed. I've driven a G without them, and the difference is night and day, IMO.

with $500 I think I would go with a set of springs (many to choose from) & a set of sways.

I vote for eibach prokit & stillen sways just cause I have them. Cant really comment on other brands since I havent expirienced them first hand.

then intake, just cause it sounds cool. no big HP gains

+1 on stillen sways, other brands I heard make knocking sounds etc. Might want to get some mcmaster bushings to replace your stock ones while your at it, or just reuse the stockers. Make sure you grease em up
