Exclamation My friend's RX8 TURBO CONVERTABLE!

I installed my friend's turbo on his 2005 RX8, and this is what I got in return...

He's got a fractured C-5 vertabae and neck injuries but is out of the hospital, and the passenger was fine.

Drive safe in the rain all u RWD owners!

Here are the pics.. ROTARY REST IN PEACE... wish we could have salvaged the turbo, but he's claiming it on his insurance for more money.

Geebus. But that should buff right out.

IMHO. If you want teh turbo back, tell him to ask the INS how much the buyback is. I doubt it's that much as that piece is wreckedumondo. You might be able to get the whole car for $500 or something.

i would still part it out. i'd part out the one good fog lamp, tail lamp, maybe exhaust?? id part basically the entire car (whatever is normal) and undamaged. You'd be surprised how much $$ he could make on ebay w/ all the parts. Strip the inside/outside...

I'm not 100% sure, he said he was trying to switch lanes in the rain (sleek) and lost control, perhaps he downshifted and lost control, or maybe fell asleep..
