Thats crazy not one but two people made it out alive. I'm assuming the passenger had no injuries? You gotta find out what happened exactly. Is it possible the car caved in a bit more while taking it to the junkyard? That just looks really bad.

Notice that the front end is relatively unscathed. He flipped it looks like. Air bag should not have gone off.

geez not what i expected. thought i'd be seeing a nice turbo setup and an actual convertible. but glad that driver and passenger are okay.

I think that the roof was cut open by the firedepartment to get them out.. it wasn't that caved in. They just did what was necessarry to get them out and to reduce further injury in the process...

he told me that the car was still turned on after the accident. he had to shut off the car after he got hurt... perhaps everything in the engine is still good, transmission should still be good; just the body of the car and suspensions are bad.
